Moving to Florida put me in contact with the great birds of the state. Egrets, herons, cranes and seabirds such as pelicans, terns and sandpipers inspired me to try to sculpt some. After a few tries the sculptures began to look good. When people asked to buy them it gave me reason to improve and perfect my work. Without any art training the journey has been hard at times, but, people‘s enjoyment with my work makes the effort worthwhile.
